Attempted break-in at drug store in Andrews/Suspect still at large

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating the attempted break-in of Turner’s Drug Store that occurred around 4:35 AM on March 7, 2014.

Officers were alerted to an audible alarm in the area.  Deputy Brandon Morgan discovered the alarm to be at Turner’s Drug Store.

Entry was not gained into the store but an attempt was made to disable the alarm and phone lines resulting in activation of the alarm.

A surveillance photo captured images of a suspect. The suspect appears to be a white male around 6’0 tall and heavy build with a beard and appears to be wearing glasses. The suspect disguised his identity with a hat and scarf, was wearing a light colored jacket, camo pants, camo hat, and camo scarf.

Please call the Sheriff’s Department or 911 if  you are able to identify the suspect.

Investigating Officers are Deputy Brandon Morgan and Investigator Tory Shivers.
