Bomb threat at Tri-County Community College in Peachtree

UPDATED:  A TCCC staff member tells WKRK that buildings are now open on campus.  We do not have any reports of an actual bomb or explosive device being found.  If you have any information that may assist in this investigation, please contact Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office at (828) 837-2589.

WKRK has received several unofficial reports of a bomb threat at Tri-County Community College Thursday evening.  At this time, we do not have any official reports from law enforcement to share and are awaiting a call back from Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.

We will update this post as more official details are made available to media outlets.
