Clay County man convicted on larceny

The following news release is furnished by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.  All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Christopher Michael Rhodes, who was arrested in February, 2013 for breaking into residences in the Fires Creek area was convicted and sentenced in Superior Court on May 31, 2013. He received a sentence of 8-19 months in the Department of Adult Corrections for three counts of Larceny after breaking and/or entering. He received a credit for 105 days of pre-trial time served. Rhodes also received an additional 8 -19 months sentencing on four counts of Larceny after breaking and/or entering, both sentences will run consecutively.
