Free bicycle helmets

Bike HelmetsThe following information provided by Town of Murphy Police Department

The Town of Murphy Police Department would like to thank the NCDOT, Division of Bicycle and Pedestrian Transportation, for providing 26 free bicycle helmets through their Safety and Education Division. These helmets will be used during our 1st Annual Town of Murphy Police Department Bicycle Rodeo, as well as the Kid’s Fair this fall. However, these helmets are available free to the public at anytime at the department. Any local government agency such as: public schools, fire departments, police departments or parks and recreation departments, can apply for these helmets. Please feel free to contact our agency if your child, or children, needs one.
