To send us Lost or Found pet information, please post a photo, description, and contact number on WKRK’s Facebook page for the world to see. If you attach a photo, then we are given the option to “share” on our Facebook page which allows you to see comments under the post. The bidirectional dialog makes using Facebook the best method of communication for missing pets.
Most families are connected on Facebook. If you don’t have a Facebook account, now is a great time to sign up for free. In addition to posting to our Facebook page, you are welcome to call in on our PartyLine show from time to time to report missing pets.
Remember: make it as easy as possible for someone to contact you by providing a phone number.
The following organizations and websites can also help bring missing pets home. The more eyes watching out for missing pets, the better the results in bringing them home. Please report any suspicious activity to your local law enforcement agency.
Also, contact all your local radio stations, newspapers and veterinarians. Hang flyers around your community with a photo of your missing pet. Include a full description and any identifying markings plus all your contact information to make getting in touch with you as easy as possible.
Feel free to share any post from the WKRK website that you feel is beneficial to your community. We encourage input from local law enforcement, government officials, emergency management officials, schools and other public service organizations. To send us information, use the form on our WKRK Info page.
