If you are headed to the Georgia mountains this weekend, why not stop by the Georgia Mountain Research and Education Center in Blairsville for “Nature Inspires” – Garden Open House. Set for Saturday, June 8 from10 a.m. until 1 p.m., the day will include guided tours of the Ethnobotanic Garden, Herb Garden and Medicine Trail. There will be nature-inspired arts and crafts, displays and demonstrations, too, and edible and medicinal plant demonstrations and plant giveaways.
