Rabies Clinic Announced for Saturday, April 27


A Rabies Clinic is planned for Saturday, April 27, 2013.  Cost is $10 per pet.

Dr. Carlton Van Horn
Hiwassee Dam School –  8:30-9:30 am
Grizzly Bear/Hot Spot –  10:00-11:00 am
New Martins Creek School –  11:15-11:45 am
Murphy Elementary School –  12:15-1:00 pm

Dr. Greg Cranford
Clay’s Corner –  9:00-9:45 am
Hayesville Courthouse – 10:00-11:30 am
Shooting Creek (Penland’s Shop) –  11:45 am-12:30 pm

Dr. David Ackerman
Marble Community Center 8:30-9:00 am
Andrews Community Center – 
 9:15-10:00 am
Topton Community Center –  10:15-10:45 am
Nantahala School –  11:30 am-12:00 pm

Dr. Hilty Burr
Peachtree Elementary School –  9:00 am-12:00 pm

All dogs and cats over the age of 3 months must be vaccinated against rabies.  For pets under 12 month, the first rabies shot is good for one year.  Otherwise, rabies booster shots are good for 3 years.

Fee Schedule:
Canine Distemper/Parvo- $10.00

Feline Leukemia with Distemper- $20.00
Other vaccines will also be available at each clinic site.

In the event of inclement weather, a “rain date” will be announced.
