The following press release has been issued by Towns County Sheriff’s Office. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Towns County Sheriff’s Office was notified by Habersham County authorities on Friday, October 4, of a stolen vehicle which might be in Towns County. The 1995 Toyota Camry was allegedly taken on October 1 from a residence in Cornelia, GA.
Towns County deputies began a search to recover the vehicle. Habersham County had warrants on two individuals for the theft of the vehicle.
Bradley Jeremy Sutton, 33, and Tiffany Nicole McNabb, 28, both of Hiawassee, were wanted in connection with the incident from Cornelia Police Department. On Sunday, October 6, Towns County Sheriff’s deputies located the vehicle at a residence on Hwy. 288, in Towns County, and both subjects were taken into custody to hold for Cornelia Police Department.
The vehicle was taken to the impound lot at the Towns County Detention Center for the owner to take possession.
