The following press release has been issued by Towns County Sheriff’s Office. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
A Hiawassee man was arrested in Hall County for multiple charges stemming from an alleged theft of an auto which occurred at a Young Harris dealership.
A call from the local business was placed to 911 and a BOLO (Be On Lookout) was sent out to Law Enforcement. Based on information gained from witnesses, Towns County Sheriff’s Office deputies were also concerned for the safety of one of the witnesses.
Based on Hall County reports, the vehicle was found in a Walmart parking lot after it had been backed into another car, and the suspect or suspects allegedly fled on foot. Two people were later found and charged by Oakwood Police Department and the vehicle impounded.
Bradley Jeremy Sutton (34) was charged by Hall County authorities with Aggravated Assault, Obstruction and Theft by Receiving. Tiffany McNabb (28) of Towns County was also charged in the incident. The incident is still under investigation.
