Safety practices in the construction industry will be the focused topic as Tri-County Community College (TCCC) offers the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA 10) for Construction May 21-23 on its main campus facility in Murphy. The class will be for four hours each night beginning at 5 p.m.
This 12-hour course will provide students with knowledge to recognize and prevent the hazards of construction sites. Students will learn about OSHA and 29CFR 1926 Regulations, the major hazards in construction, proper use of personal protective equipment, along with many other safety principles important to construction workers.
Upon completion of the course, students well receive an OSHA 10 course completion certification card.
