On November 24th, 2013 at about 3:00 PM two persons were arrested while in the act of committing a Breaking and Entering at an unoccupied dwelling house located at #67 Bluff Road, in the Marble Community of Cherokee County. Daniel Ray Davis, age 28, who is homeless, and Shandella Mae Harrell, age 36, also homeless, were arrested by Sheriff Keith Lovin while the two were in the act of burglarizing an unoccupied residence.
Deputy Zachary Shiver and Investigator Todd White also responded and assisted in the investigation. In the follow up investigation, it was determined that the couple had actually broken into the home and stole various pieces of household goods and furniture, which they claimed to have sold the goods at various flea markets, on three different occasions; twice on November 24th and once on November 25th.
Both Davis and Harrell were charged with three counts each of Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny, and Felony Conspiracy and were confined to the Cherokee County Detention Center under a $25,000.00 Bond each.
