Two Murphy Men Cited for Gaming Machine Violations

The following news release has been issued by Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.  All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Murphy, NC — On September 10, 2013, 37 year old Michael Laudecio and 67 year old Truman Fredrick Kelly, both of Murphy NC, were cited for violation of the state gaming machine violation.

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office had received several complaints from public providing information that both Laudecio and Kelly were operating gaming machines in area businesses. Following a month long investigation investigators with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division executed search warrants and located operating machines.
