WKRK Radio is back on the air

on-airA huge thanks to Matt Wilson and Tom Eaton for their friendship and their brainpower in getting WKRK’s transmitter back on the air this morning.  And a special thanks to Donna Lynn for filling in for me on the air on such short notice (our broadcast still continues on TV, internet and mobile devices even when our transmitter is down.)

The factory told us that our radio feed would be off air until a special part could be shipped out on Monday.

Tom and Matt are both very talented engineers who looked at the problem and were able to rearrange some parts, bypassing the ones that were failing.  We are pretty confident that this temporary solution will hold us until a new, shiny part arrives from the factory.  I am very grateful to have their help as this was a problem way above my level of knowledge.

Thanks to all our faithful listeners who have told us they missed us on the radio.  It’s really nice to be missed.  We appreciate your continued support.   Have a great weekend.  -Tim
