4th of July Events for Cherokee County

Friday, July 3

- Independence Day Championship Race and Fireworks Show at Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown.  Racing begins at 7:30 pm.  (POSTPONED TO THURSDAY, JULY 9th)

Saturday, July 4

- (POSTPONED TO SATURDAY, JULY 11th) - Huge list of activities in Andrews, NC at the Park, Pool and Community Center.  Events include:  Waterslide, Balloon Toss, Peanut Drop, Sack Race, 3 Legged Race, Football Toss, Swimming Race, Egg Toss, Horseshoe Tournament, Tug of War, Toys in Straw, Pick Up Ducks, Ping Pong Ball Race, Corn Hole, 3-Point Shoot Out, Big Splash, Diving Contest, Belly Flop, Smallest Splash, Coin Dive.   Again, those ACTIVITIES are planned for July 11th.  Andrews Fireworks postponed to Labor Day Weekend.

- (POSTPONED TO SATURDAY, JULY 11th) - Lots of fun for the family in Murphy, NC beginning with a Fishing Derby at 10 am and ending with live music and then Fireworks around 9:45 pm.   Events include:  Horseshoe Tournament, Parade Stage at Murphy First Baptist Church, Peanut Drop, Sack Races, Frisbee Throw, Egg Toss, Water Balloon, Hot Air Balloon Rides, Live Music, Food Vendors, Arts and Crafts.
