Tri-County Community College Foundation will be hosting its 8th Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 19, at The Ridges in Hayesville. This event is open to the public, so residents are invited to form their own teams and enjoy friendly competition with other groups.

The Four-Person, Best-Ball, Shotgun-Start tournament will have over $3,800 in prizes for participants to claim. The registration fee will be $99 per person and will include greens fees and a cart on the day of the tournament. Golfers will tee off at 9:00 a.m. after a complimentary buffet style breakfast.

Pre-registration is highly recommended because the number of teams that can participate in this tournament is limited.

All proceeds from the golf tournament will go to support the Tri-County Community College Foundation Unrestricted Fund, which supports college and community-based events and projects.

The TCCC Foundation is a non-profit organization that is governed by a Board of Directors representing the Colleges service area. TCCC strives to support the College and students by providing the resources needed for success, while building and nurturing supportive community relationships.

A wide range of projects are supported by the Foundation including the Childrens Theatre, student scholarships, financial assistance to student honor societies, workforce development projects, memorial gifts, and planned giving.

For more information about this 8th Annual Golf Tournament, contact Dotie Stafford-Ortega at (828) 835-4208or via email dstafford@tricountycc.edu.
