The following press release has been issued by Towns County Sheriff's Office. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On Wednesday, June 14, 2017 deputies with the Towns County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the 6800 block of Byers Creek Road in Young Harris in reference to a physical assault. Upon investigation of the reported incident, Robert Crisp, age 29, of Young Harris, Georgia was arrested and charged with one count of Aggravated Assault. It was reported that the suspect used a vehicle to assault the victim of the incident. The victim refused to be transported for further medical attention from the scene. The case will be referred to the Towns County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution. Feel free to share any post from the WKRK website that you feel is beneficial to your community.
